Overview
Experience the Moroccan Sahara Desert on a 3-day tour from Marrakech, to the Valley Of The Roses to Merzouga. What makes it one of our best Sahara desert tours is that you will have the opportunity to spend the night at a nomad camp in the Saharan dunes. Itinerary
Tonight, we'll stay at the Gateway To The Sahara, Ouarzazarte in a riad or a comfortable hotel.
First though, you will need to be transferred from Marrakech.
Our experts of Sahara desert tours will pick you up from your hotel or riad and head out to the High Atlas Tizi-n-Tichka pass at 2260m altitude. We'll break up your journey with a visit to the kasbah Telouet and then take the caravan tracks to the kasbah at Ait Benhaddou.
After an eventful day, you can relax for the night on the edge of the Sahara, ready to explore in the morning.
After breakfast we'll take you out to see 'The Valley Of The Roses' with the winding River Dades running through the centre.
When we leave, we'll get some stunning views of the surrounding countryside as we travel on toward Tinghir and the Todgha valley. Make sure you keep an eye out for traditional Berber huts and villages!
Our next destination is the dramatic 300m Todgha Gorge, a popular, destination with rock climbers and occasionally even film-makers.
Afterward, we'll set off for the village of Merzouga where we'll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea and a short rest.
From there, we're off into the desert! When we're ready, we'll ride our camels out into the dunes and catch the sunset before spending the night in a traditional nomad's tent. Your dinner is included.
The Palace of Fifty five Windows: This magnificent palace was built during the reign of King Yakshya Malla in A.D. 1427 and was subsequently remodeled by King Bhupatindra Malla in the seventeenth century. Among the brick walls with their gracious setting and sculptural design, is a balcony with Fifty five Windows, considered to be a unique masterpiece of woodcarving.
Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts.
Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia.

FAQs
Annapurna Base Camp is a Grade B or a moderately difficult trekking route. So any fit person can do this trek, even if you do not have any previous experience. You should be aware of what to expect and mentally prepare for it. Then, as long as you will too, you can.
On average, you walk about 4 to 6 hours per day. One or two days can be as less as 3hrs and one or two days can be as long as 7hrs.
The highest altitude reached is 4190m. This is the elevation of Annapurna Base Camp. ABC is the highest we will climb in this trek.
Yes, you can charge batteries en route. Charger should be brought. There are hot shower facilities as well. You may have to pay a certain amount for both ($1-$2). Negotiate. Also, a hot water facility could be free at a lower elevation.
No. There are no ATMs on this trek route. You will have to draw enough cash in Pokhara or Kathmandu. There are a number of ATMs in these cities. Everything is paid in Nepali rupees. So money should be exchanged before the start of the trek.
Yes. The Internet can be accessed in most places. Sometimes, there might be some technical problems. The Internet in Nepal is not as fast as you are used to and at times you can just lose connection.
Not really. It depends on you. If you want, ABC trekking can be done independently. You could hire a guide and a porter by yourself instead of going through an agency or not hire a guide at all. Although, not having a guide can be a little problematic during the offseason.
It really depends on you. Is it your first time in Nepal? How confident are you of being able to find your way around? How pressed on time are you? If you go through an agency, it will be costlier but everything will be planned. You will only have to come, trek and return.
For the Annapurna region, pay for guides range from $20 to $30 per day and porters take $15 to $25 per day.
